Genetic Analysis Software

Mx was the primary software used at the Workshop.The version of the program provided on this CD is the most recent available in March, 2002. If it is much past that date it would be advisable to check the Mx website for updates.

• Mx from Mike Neale http://views.vcu.edu/mx/.

  On this CD Mx is stored in the Mx\ directory. The Windows version can be installed by running Mx\MxGUI\Windows\SETUP.EXE. Binaries for various Unix and Unix-like systems are in Mx/Unix-standalone.

• Shaun Purcell's web based utilities.

  The web based programs that Shaun Purcell demonstrated are available on his website at http://statgen.iop.kcl.ac.uk/bgim/.
