Dr.
Susan Young is a research associate at IBG who has expertise in
multivariate twin analysis and family-based genetic association
methods. She is currently investigating several candidate genes
involved in the dopaminergic system as they may relate to substance
use and related disorders. She also has extensive experience in
assessment standardization and the development of computer algorithms
for generating phenotypes for quantitative genetic analysis. She
is a co-investigator on the National Youth Survey, and a large twin
study of executive cognitive function.
