Dr Pennington's research focus is on understanding disorders of cognitive development. These disorders include developmental dyslexia, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, and several mental retardation syndromes: early treated phenylketonuria, fragile X syndrome, Down syndrome, and infantile autism.
