A prodigious amount of data has been collected throughout the 30 years of the CAP. The following data sets were collected from CAP core subjects (CAP adopted or matched control children and their first* younger siblings )at ages 1 through 16 and with CAP parents during the first visit, and again at subject ages 7,12 and 16.

In addition, attempts were made from the inception of the CAP to test additional siblings (Most are older full** and half-siblings, but some are younger siblings)on the basic CAP (Blue Book), resulting in a wide range of ages (16+) for this measure. Some of the additional siblings have been used several times as a test-retest sample, resulting in intermittent data at younger ages.

* In the adopting families, both the first adopted and first younger birth child of the parents (if any) were included.
** In the adopting families, full-sib refers not to a full biological sib but rather to a full legal sib (adopted or born to the same set of parents).
