Welcome to the IBG Education and Training site and thank you for your interest in our program. IBG offers the opportunity to complete a certificate in Behavioral Genetics to students who are in Ph.D. programs affiliated with our faculty fellows. The major goal of the training program is to train scientists in the study of genetic contributions to individual differences in behavior. This is accomplished by requiring students to obtain strong training in a primary academic discipline, by instructing them in the interdisciplinary content of behavioral genetics, and by providing an atmosphere in which close interactions among scholars with different perspectives may be established. Each of the links to the side provide more details about affiliated programs, IBG certificate program application and admission, faculty mentors, coursework requirements, and other training requirements.
